ESANN

Practical information for ESANN 2021 participants and speakers has been sent by e-mail on October 3.  If you are registered and did not receive this message, please contact esann@uclouvain.be.

Due to numerous requests the deadline to submit papers to the ESANN 2021 conference has been extended to May 17, 2021. Please note that no further extension will be given.

A special issue will be published in the Neurocomputing journal, with extended versions of the best papers presented at ESANN 2021.

The ESANN 2020 papers have been indexed in Scopus.

We are pleased to announce the ESANN 2020 best student paper award, delivered to Ms. Perrine Cribier-Delande, for her contribution entitled

Time Series Prediction using Disentangled Latent Factors

co-authored with Raphaël Puget, Vincent Guigue and Ludovic Denoyer.  Congratulations!

ESANN 2020 will be fully organized online.  The current sanitary situation in Europe, and the restrictions in force in Belgium about large gatherings do not allow us to organize a physical event.  The health of all is our primary concern.  ESANN 2020 will be organized online on Friday October 2 to Sunday October 4 and the program will not change.  Instructions for speakers to prepare their presentation, and instructions for participants to follow the online sessions will be communicated directly to the participants.

Unfortunately the Covid-19 resurgence in Europe has consequences on the organization of the ESANN conference: it becomes more and more probable that we will have to switch to a fully virtual conference.  A final decision will be taken around August 15-20; all registered participants will be contacted by e-mail.  In the meantime, please do not make travel plans; thank you for your understanding.

The ESANN 2020 conference is postponed to 2-3-4 October 2020.  Speakers and already registered participants will be contacted individually by e-mail.

Covid-19 news: the ESANN conference will be postponed (it will not take place on April 22-24 as initially planned).  We are currently looking for new dates probably in September of October and will publish information soon.

Due to the latest developments in Covid-19 outbreak, it becomes less and less probable that the ESANN 2020 conference will be organized before the end of April.  No decision is taken yet, but we are currently considering to postpone the conference.  A decision will be published within a week.  In the meantime, please consider delaying making new travel reservations.
